How Timber Hill Prefinished Products Simplify Your Building Project
You’re staring at the delivery of cedar siding that needs stained, wondering how you’re going to make the space to lay it out. After the lumberyard outsourced the staining on your last order and got it wrong, you decided to do this batch yourself.Â
One of your workers never showed up today. Another one wants to leave early to go hunting. The client calls again, asking if you’ll have the siding installed before the next round of storms.
With Timber Hill, you’ll never have to choose between trusting a third-party finishing contractor or clogging your workspace and schedule trying to handle it yourself. That’s because you’ll be dealing with me, the owner of our family business, not a clerk who’s never installed siding.Â
Nothing makes me happier than making sure you always have the supplies you need—products you’ll be pleased to install, on a timeline that fits your schedule.
Why Pre-Staining Is Better
The biggest difference with using pre-finished siding and trim is that you’re never forced to wait on good weather to apply finish. Instead, the treatment you want gets professionally applied inside our climate-controlled shop. When it arrives at your jobsite, it’s clean, dry, and ready to go, so you can move ahead without holdups.Â
To make sure your products absorb as much stain as possible, we back-brush the stain after it’s applied. And if your siding gets a solid stain, we always offer to apply an oil-based primer first.Â
- Deeper protection: Drier wood absorbs more stain. This gives you even colors and ensures the finished product lasts for many years on your home.
- Weather-proof workflow: No more waiting for good weather to stain on-site.
- Four-sided coverage: We seal all four sides of your siding so it warps and shrinks less and resists moisture longer.Â
- No ugly unstained areas: When you stain siding after it’s installed, shifting and shrinking can turn untreated areas into an eyesore.
Why Choose Timber Hill?
