Open Hands is an Anabaptist non-profit organization combating poverty by forming, teaching and mentoring savings and credit groups. Our vision is to see the financially vulnerable stabilized and growing, standing together in Christian community.

We guide those in poverty in forming savings and credit groups, providing a path to financial stability which restores dignity, value, and hope. Within these groups, members support one another, creating a strong sense of community and shared responsibility. They provide a safe space to save money and access loans for small businesses, school tuition, and emergencies.

Our facilitators provide Christ-centered, Bible-based training in leadership, financial management, and entrepreneurship to equip members for success both spiritually and financially. Groups build and manage their own savings and lending systems, achieving lasting financial stability and reducing dependence on external aid.
